Top 25 Green Power Purchasers

Pepsi, one of 25 companies making an effort to use renewable energy sources.

The Environmental Protection Agency recently announced the country's top 25 green power purchasers. These companies are trying to run their operations on wind, solar, hydro and other renewable energy sources. Understand that we are not saying these companies are "green", but they are purchasing alternative sources of energy and cutting back a bit on pollution. In fact, many of these are lacking in social and environmental responsibilities in my opinion.

Renewable energy purchases through the EPA's Green Partners program have increased 163% since January 2006.
