More Toxic Toys Recalled

Supportgreencompanies.com has previously reported that major toy manufacturers are selling you dangerous, toxic toys. The same toys that your kids handle frequently and probably put in their mouth at some point. They are at it again!

There has been another major toy recall that you need to be aware of. Dangers from powerful magnets and toxic lead paint led Mattel to recall more than 9 million toys on Tuesday, just weeks after it recalled 1 million other products.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said that magnets can come loose and be swallowed in more than 7 million Polly Pocket toys, 680,000 Barbie and Tanner sets, 1 million Doggie Daycare sets and 350,000 Batman figures.

The surface paint on 250,000 Sarge cars from the movie "Cars" were also added to the recall.

Mattel is the world's largest toy maker, and the affected toys were made in China.

In August Mattel's Fisher-Price division recalled 1.5 million preschool toys featuring some you kid's favorite characters like Dora the Explorer, Big Bird and Elmo.

This latest Mattel recall is just another of the many toy recalls that have rocked the toy industry. With the Holiday season right around the corner and more than 80 percent of toys sold worldwide made in China, toy sellers are getting worried that shoppers will shy away from their products. They better be!

At the bottom of this page you can find a list of the latest toy recalls. If you have any of them, put them in a box and we can help you find a place to get rid of them.
